Mortgage and Lending with The Jonathan Arnold Team of Inlanta Mortgage

MANY LOAN OFFICERS ARE GOING TO LOOSE THEIR LICENSES IN LESS THAN 60 DAYS!Get Educated NOW!

ARE YOU SAFE?

In the next 60 days the following state will require the SAFE test to be completed:

  • Oregon
  • Ohio
  • California
  • Pennsylvania
  • Utah
  • New York
  • Montana
  • New Jersey

If you have not started or completed your SAFE testing yet get started now! Check out this great education platform: Financial Strategies.

POSITIVE FOR THOSE WHO ARE "SAFE":  With the current number of loan officers who have not completed this test, the competition will be greatly decreased once again.

NEGATIVE FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT "SAFE": You will not be able to originate loans until the class is completed and some companies may be letting unlicensed employees go.

Charlie, I can't agree more!  Everyone one should have required education no matter if they are a banker or a broker.  They are all handling the same transactions with the same proposed outcomes.

I can't believe I forgot Geroria, lol!  This year Alabama, Arizonia, Indiana, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas and Washington will also all be required (to name a few).  The idea is that the entire country will be on board before the year end.

Thanks Amy.  I sometimes forget about Colorado due to their already very strict licensing requirements. The loan officers I work with are not able to do loans there because of those requirements.  I have an office in CO that handles all our business in the state.  These new requirements are keeping us all on our toes these days.

Not a bad thing to be kept on your toes. Weeds out the bad ones hopefully

Robert:

That is the goal...to weed out the bad ones or the lazy ones who are not willing to get licensed.  The mortgage industry just had to catch up with the testing put on you agents and than make it even harder.  I know I am happier to work with some licensed over those who are not.
