Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge5 reasons to move to Golden Colorado 80401!  Welcome to Golden Colorado!  A quaint town quietly nestled in between the foothills of the Rockies and Denver Colorado.  This is a superb location for anyone who loves the outdoors.  Featuring beautiful scenery, small town feel, clear blue skies and easy commute to the front range.  A few of the reasons to move to Golden Colorado and why I think you will too:

1.  Did I mention the mountains: skiing, fishing, hiking, biking?  This town has easy access to many recreational possibilites and centrally located to them all.  Clear Creek flows right through the heart of Golden, essentially your trailway into the Rockies.  Coors brewery is famous for it's Rocky mountain water and a big part of Golden.  World class ski areas are just a quick shot up I-70!

2.  Golden Gate Canyon State Park:  Over 12000 acres of Rocky mountain beauty for you to play in and it is in just up the road (14 miles to be exact).  When you see Colorado Golden Gate Canyon park you see Colorado.

3.  Heritage Square.  A local Victorian shopping and amusement park Village.  Did I mention it's FREE.  This village has shops, food, holiday celebrations, miniature train, amusement park, and mGolden: I-70 in Goldeny favorite the alpine slide. Heritage Square is a great free local getaway with your friends and family that will satisfy all appetites.

 4.  We are growing!  Fastracks project is underway and will connect Golden to the rest of the Denver metro light rail system soon. Golden is a very commutable town: In addition to light rail, 6th ave and I-70 lead to Denver and Highway 93 to Boulder.

5.  It's a great time to buy!  Some say it's one of best times to buy in over 30 years.  Prices are great, rates are still good and inventory is stable. For those that want new: Canyon View, Millstone and Peakview are some newer real estate projects to check out.  Golden Colorado market stats

Spring is in the air!  The foothills are starting to green up and home buyers are stirring.  Also, the tax credit deadline is approaching so homes are moving. If you need more reasons to consider Golden Colorado give me a call. Search for Golden Colorado real estate

Golden is nice only b/c its at the foothills, and b/c of the accessibility to outdoor activities. But its not the friendliest town, and people tend to keep to themselves. I thought smaller towns were supposed to be friendlier. I think NYC, SF and Chicago are friendlier.

Hi Cory - I just moved to downtown Golden and am loving the small town lifestyle.  It's a great mix of families and college town goofiness and there is always something going on to participate in.  Thanks for the list!
