DON'T BE BLIND TO "THE BLIND SIDE"

This blog is not related to the Real Estate profession but it is related to people and we are in the "people" business. I was so blown away by this movie I saw it twice and have to tell everyone out there to see it. There are so many "feel good" movies with the "happily ever after ending" too good to be true that are usually fairy tales or fiction. This is a true story about a rich family from  Memphis, Tennessee who "rescues" a homeless kid literally from the street, projects, crime, and drugs and  takes him in to their home and raises and loves him like a son. This homeless kid today is the most sought after offensive lineman in the NFL. The important part is not that the family was rich enough to do this but that they had so much love in their heart to reach out to this boy. If everyone used a fraction of that kindness and concern towards one another, what a different world we'd live in.

Deborah...it is so true and I like the way you say it. If each one of us just does a little, that's a lot of people doing a little bit. Eventually, things catch on we get get much needed change. Thanks for highlighting this point

Thanks for your comment Richie, glad someone got the message.  One person, but like you said-just a little bit, it's a start....
