Use the First time buyers tax credit to purchase a home in Northwest Fort Worth or the Alliance Corridor before its too late.

Federal First Time Buyer's Tax Credit running out of time and so far no real news of an extension.

If you have been thinking about purchasing a home in the Northwest Fort Worth or the Alliance Corridor area, now might be a good time.  There are homes available and now is a great time to buy.  Interest rates have moved a bit, but are still low.

If you are trying to decide between continuing to rent or purchasing a home, you might try looking at it in a different light.  If you are able to qualify for the $8000 tax credit that is $8000 that you can bank and save to use to offset any increase monthly expenses due to purchasing.  Couple that credit with all the wonderful advantages to home ownership and it really is a no brainer.

If you are tired of renting don't let this great opportunity to pass you by.  There are several Home buyer programs available to help assist you with your first time home purchase, and the Alliance Corridor and Northwest Fort Worth areas are still growing as new business and industry continue to move into the area. To take advantage of the tax credit remember you must have a home purchase contract in place by April 30, 2010 and you must close by June 30, 2010.  To find out more about the Home-buyer's Tax Credit visit  http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=215791,00.html

Whitney, I guess we better get ready for the rush then.  I hope underwriting doesn't get bogged down by the flood of files that will be coming in.  Last minute Louies.
