SOUTH CAROLINA - SMILING FACES - BEAUTIFUL PLACES

A tax free gift to our shoppers will be August 3-5, 2007!  Our state will not be collecting tax on the following items:

   1) Clothing

   2) Linens

   3) School Supplies

   4) Computers

So for shoppers, this is the time to make these purchases.  Just in time for starting school, college or simply replacing some of these items.  Keep this in mind before you buy, this weekend is just around the corner.

And for visitors, have fun and save some money.  Just one more reason South Carolina is such a great place to live and vacation!

Good Morning Nancy,
Pawleys Island is a lovely area--I lived in Charleston for a little of 2 years and would pass through on my way to and from my parents home.
We have the tax free weekend this weekend too, it's a great time to get those back to school supplies.  Thank you for a good post.

I'm not looking forward to the headaches in the stores, the fumes from the vehicles, and the very long lines. I intend to stay inside, work on a long list of PowerPoint Listing Presentations for clients, and relax. I've already done my shopping for school and business.

I'm not sure if Florida had a tax free week this year.   We have enjoyed them for many years prior.  This is my first year with no kids going  back to school.  I'm out of the loop!
