Welcome to a New Day
Getting up early is not usually a problem for me most of the year when the days are longer and a little warmer. I go out to get the newspaper and feed the birds every morning whether it is raining, snowing or just a calm start to the day.
Sometimes I remember to take my camera with me. Here is what I saw this morning.

Oh, that's pretty. I'm not a morning person, but it IS very nice in the morning, the times when I have to get up early.

I like the second shot, Mary. The tree branches seem to have woven a perfect frame for the rising sun.
Now the question is how did you get to the second picture? With a zoom lens on your camera or with Photoshop? Either way, the effect is stunning.

The second shot was taken a few minutes after the first one with zoom lens. Soon the leaves will come out and we won't see the sunrise until late fall.
