Dogs Used As Shark Bait? This Must Be An Internet Rumor!

Nope.  It's not.  Live dogs are being used as shark bait by French fisherman.  They are hooked through their nose and paws.  I can't even believe I am typing this right now.  I don't personally believe in the death penalty, but if I could meet these fisherman, I would cripple them.  I really would.

I found out about this on Facebook.  There is a group called

Stop The Usage Of Dogs As Live Bait For Sharks.

The group has 1.3 million members.  Please become a member as well.  Please!

Man, I hate sharks too.  On top of everything else.  I really hate sharks.

There are some very sick people in this world.  That is indeed true.

Michael, Okay I'm going to be honest I could not even bring myself to read the article.  That is just AWFUL!  I'm a huge animal lover and that someone would do that is a CRIME!!  I'm going to pray for those poor dogs and that somehow this would STOP!!

Michael - I had already seen this video so I didn't have to re-watch to be outraged.  The way we treat animals in this world, including this country, is appalling.  I don't know what twisted human first thought of this, but he/she should be shot.  It's sick.  Thank you for letting everyone know.

Michael, I wish I HAD clicked on the link yesterday before forwarding this to all I know.  It turns out this story is 5 years old and appears to have been an isolated incident.  The authorities were involved and there have been no recent news regarding this.   I'm glad it's a non-issue now.

I love all animals and we have 2 dogs that are like family (sometimes they make more sense than humans!) and I couldn't click on the link as well.

I'm so glad Maggie took the time to check it out and hopefully it's true that is now a non-issue.

People can be so cruel to each other it's horrific what they can do to animals that can't defend themselves at all.
