Easter Sunday in Congress Park
By Kevin Lundy of Focused Realty

The Congress Park Neighborhood is centrally located between Josephine Street on the West Side, Colorado Boulevard on the East, Colfax Avenue to the North and 6th Avenue on the South. If you're considering a relocation to the metro-Denver area, you owe it to yourself to know about Congress Park.
If you're so inclined, the best start to an Easter Sunday can begin with religious ceremonies at your local house of worship. Congress Park is home to a great mixture of religious communities, each of which seems to be tolerant of new faces. You and your family will undoubtedly find yourself welcome at your prefered house of worship within walking distance of wherever your Congress Park journey begins.
Following Sunday morning church ceremonies, a family stroll to one of many delectible brunch spots would surely move the day along in the right direction. Two restaurants in particular worth mentioning in Congress Park, when thinking about a terrific brunch location, would have to include Snooze, an AM Eatery, for an amazing sit-down meal, or the Smiling Moose Deli for food on the go.
Snooze is perhaps the most desireable place in all of Denver, let alone Congress Park, to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch. Its menu is nothing short of sensational. Evidence of how good the food is and how professional the staff is can be seen if you happen to get there too late. On Sundays, the restaurant opens at 7am. If you happen to get there anytime after 7am, plan to wait in line for at least one half hour. Now understand, these folks are efficient and they're fast. While the food is prepared as fresh as can be, and the staff is running their butts off to get it to you, and while you'll never feel rushed while you're there, there is certain to be a line of people waiting outside because the food is just that good.
At the Smiling Moose Deli, you'll find a combination of great food and great fun. The food is really inventive for a deli, as you'd expect for any company bringing its charm from Vail to Congress Park. From the freshest ingrediants to be found to the generous portions, you won't walk away hungry after visting this Congress Park favorite.
Following brunch, you might want to burn off some calories. Why not find yourself in Congress Park's famous Botanic Gardens? Here you'll be able to wander through the Boettcher Memorial Conservatory, where you'll have a chance to feel the humidity and smell the flowers.
End your perfect family Easter Sunday by relaxing by your fireplace, realizing this perfect family day was all within walking distance from your new home in Congress Park.
