Whenever I hear about a Beauty contest I always think about the episode of Andy Griffth when Andy has to judge a beauty contest in Mayberry. Of course, everyone wants Andy to choose their child and the stuff some of the parents do to try to influence poor Andy is pretty funny.
But on a serious note, there is going to be a beauty pageant soon in Williamston! Now I hope no one will act like the citizens of Mayberry and try to influence the judges!
The Miss Williamston Scholarship Pageant is going to have a May Day Pageant May 1st at the Municipal Center auditorium.
The dealine to register is April 25! And the contest is open for ages from birth to 18 years old!
