Spring arriving at Lake Powell - Get 'er done in 2010

Lake Powell is a 200-mile long reservoir in Utah and Arizona with more shoreline than the coast of California.  This high-desert lake is surrounded by red rock sandstone cliffs and sandy beaches.   Spring brings wild flowers, blooming cactus, and increased fishing activity.  Fisherman's delight - home to several species of fish including bass throughout the year.  Large open bays of smooth water are perfect for water skiing and other water sports.    In summer months, Lake Powell warms to 80 degrees for people of all ages to swim and play in the clear waters and houseboating is popular.   With slick rock and slot canyons, hiking is very popular for all ages and all levels.  Thousands of acres of public lands in Utah make it easy to enjoy nature via 4-wheel drive vehicle, ATVs, horseback riding, hiking, and camping.   Page, Arizona is a city of about 8000 people with shopping, hotels, restaurants, community acitivites, and more.  This makes a primo area to retire, live and work in a mild climate, or recreate without crowds of people on your heels.  Visit or move to Lake Powell in 2010!    Want more info?
