Call me "FARMER NICK"... and I'll welcome you to my Caribbean Ranch!

Do you play FARMVILLE? PONDVILLE? SEAVILLE? Any of those silly Facebook games?

If so then you understand the importance of planting your seeds, plowing your fields, and harvesting your crops. The same mundane things you must do to grow your virtual farm you must do for your business.

So here is my great idea for the week...

GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

Grab your sphere of influence. Call them. Take them to lunch. Do whatever you have to do.

Make sure you have a notebook with you everywhere you go. Write EVERYTHING down.

Advertise your listings. EVERYWHERE. If you don't have any, call every agent/broker you know and ask to advertise there. Some might care, but you will be surprised how many won't care. Get it in writing and make your phone ring.

Follow up with past clients. They must have worked with you once for some reason. Find out that reason and duplicate.

and finally... HAVE FUN!!! If you don't love this, then get out. Because the economy is what it is. There may be no NEW Business, but there is always market share to pick up.

HAPPY EASTER!

So true,

Staying in front of potential clients  to get ahead is a lot easier than the view from the rear.

Enjoy the day
