Next month's Business Resource Meeting will feature a Top Producer Panel of local real estate agents. Too often, people tend to believe that great salespersons are born as gifted speakers. In reality, great real estate agents are made. It is a long-term, never ending process. It requires new agents to develop both sales skills and passion for selling. While being extroverted or a good speaker is a plus, it isn't a requirement. While top producers may be great speakers, more often they are far better listeners and are empathetic and in tune with the needs of theirs customers. Taping into and addressing the concerns of purchasers generates sales and long-term customers. It all starts with developing good active listening skills.
