Property tax reform bill is expected to see action when Georgia state lawmakers return April 12. Its viewed as the most sweeping tax reform bill in decades. The bill would require that property tax assessments go out annually, with an estimate of the owner's tax bill, and would specify that "fair value", be based on all relevant sales, including distress sales.
