If you're looking to snag a great home at a terrific price consider West Oaks subdivision in Fuquay Varina NC. But you'll have to be quick. It's an area where very few homes come up on the market but when they do they get snatched up fairly quickly.
I have the pleasure of working with a terrific 1st time home buyer that's found a pearl of a home in the West Oaks subdivision.This ones got it all - updated kitchen with granite counter tops, tiled floor. And it sits on just under an acre on a cul-de-sac brimming with hardwoods and lush landscaping. And the screened in porch is heavenly overlooking a private back yard.
This area is just 11 miles south of Raleigh and offers shopping, a couple golf courses close by, and access to major highways, and RDU is just 16 miles away. The town of Fuquay Varina came to be initially due to tobacco trade and agriculture, but now has established itself as a pretty good alternative to the west side of Raleigh and has seen good population growth and even real estate development due to its proximity

West Oaks was established back in the mid 80's and the developers did a great job in laying it out so as to not loose the rolling hills and various elevations.
