Shopping In White Marsh Maryland
White Marsh, Maryland, located Northeast of Baltimore City, is home to a great deal of shopping options.
The Avenue, established in 1998, is an open air market street featuring old standbys like Starbucks, Chili’s and Staples, but also features popular local restaurants such as Della Rose’s and Red Brick Station. The Avenue also features a large multiplex AMC/Lowe’s movie theater.
Also in the Avenue, from July to October each year, is an outdoor Farmer’s Market featuring fresh breads, organic vegetables and fruits, local honey and more.
White Marsh Mall, which was built in 1981, is a large 2 story mall featuring several anchor stores such as Macy’s and JC Penney, but also includes a large selection of clothing companies, collectibles, sporting goods and an ample food court. Located in the heart of the mall’s food court is a large Merry Go Round (pictured) that is ideal for children who have grown cranky from a day’s worth of shopping.
All in all the mall hosts well over 100 stores. The mall was developed over the course of 10 years by the Rouse Company. Directly outside of the mall, in the same parking lot, is an Ikea and a PF Chang’s restaurant.
Just a minute down Campbell Boulevard from White Marsh Mall and the Avenue is a newer retail space known as Nottingham Square which is home to Best Buy, Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and a Target. Also in this shopping plaza are a Ledo’s Pizza, Chic Fil A and a Noodles & Company.
As you can see, White Marsh, Maryland offers a great selection for shopping, dining and entertainment.
