I just visited Baldwin Park last month while staying with some friends who live nearby. What a lovely community, and those homes on New Broad Street were gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the information.

It is truly a great neighborhood. Great schools, close to town, lots of parks and open space.  The only thing I don't like is that there isn't much parking if you have guests over. It would be hard to have a bunch of people over for Thanksgiving if you lived in there.

There are a few streets were parking is hard but all and all it's very easy there is tons of street parking all throughout. My inlaws lived in there and had all the family gatherings for the Holidays never an issue at any of the 4 houses they had in there. Yes they liked the community :)

Heather, it is so fascinating to me to remember how they prepared Baldwin Park - using the rubble from the buildings demolished by the old Navy Training facility for the roads. That was smart and very green before its time. Also, the fact that when you include Windsong, it is the largest newer urban development in the country. Now that's amazing! Great post about this wonderful neighborhood.

Having lived there for 5 years now, I can say that Baldwin Park is a great place to live. Our children love the parks and we enjoy the overall quality of this neighborhood with great schools and convenient lifestyle.
