Boston Harbor Olympia Homes

Boston Harbor Olympia

Boston Harbor (no, not that Boston) is a small waterfront community in Olympia, WA where Dana Passage feeds into Budd Inlet. Perched on the northwest tip of one of Olympia's fingers into the Puget Sound, Boston Harbor is Olympia's version of a cozy beach town. A popular destination for kayakers, boaters, and fishermen, Boston Harbor makes a great place to experience everything Puget Sound has to offer.

Boston Harbor is easily accessible by boat or by a short scenic drive from downtown Olympia.

Boston Harbor Olympia Amenities

The focal point of Boston Harbor is obviously the waterfront. The community is centered around Boston Harbor Marina, a popular little stop-off for visitors and locals alike. The marina offers fresh seafood, boat rentals, and a friendly welcome to the neighborhood. The slow pace of life and mesmerizing scenery makes Boston Harbor one of those places where you lose track of time and find yourself not wanting to leave.

In addition to the marina, Boston Harbor is also very near Burfoot Park, a 50 acre park with nature trails and 1,100 feet of saltwater beaches. The Boston Harbor community falls within the Olympia School District and is home to its own school, Boston Harbor Elementary.

Thanks Nyssa, I've gotten strange looks many times when I tell people not from Olympia about the house I have listed in Boston Harbor ;-)

Fernando, great place for fishing and kayaking. The Puget Sound offers some great recreational activities on the water and some amazing scenery. I'll add some photos of the area on a future post....
