Do you remember the feelings you experienced when you bought your first home?  I Do!  Do you recall the Fear of Failure, the wrenching of your gut, the nervousness of doubt, and the anticipation of failure?  Do you remember questioning whether you should really try this?  I Do!

If you never bought a house, you probably remember the feeling you experienced when you were trying to gain the nerve to ask that special girl for a date, or as a girl--that anxt of trying to catch his eye?  Remember saying, "I'll just die if..."

We all have had those moments, and LIVED to celebrate that success.  Buying your first home is a "Success Story waiting for you!"  Success is the conclusion to a determined start, a relentless pursuit, and a faithful follow-through!   I remember my dad's never-flagging confidence that "You can do anything you put your mind to, but you have to put your mind to doing it."

Remember the refrain, "Quitters never win, and winners never quit."  Twenty-six years in real estate and real estate finance has convinced me that the secret is in Dad's admonition, "You can do anything you put your mind to..."

Where is your mind?  IF you want to own a home, put your mind to it, find a REALTOR® who believes in you and won't give up on you, and make a plan.  Remember: "Plan your work and Work your plan."

Do these two things IMMEDIATELY: (1) Set down with your REALTOR® and do a realistic assessment of your income, credit and finances; and (2) seek out a mortgage loan officer that has the "heart of a teacher."

Husband and Wife must do this together--truly become one: set you goals realistically, honestly asses any obsticle, and work together to achieve your goals.  Gentlemen, listen to your wives--hear their need for security, and nurture their desire to give your family a place called "home."  Build on a successful relationship, dare to dream together, work for mutual success, and remember (1) "You can do anything you put your mind to...", and (2) Success is the conclusion to a determined start, a relentless pursuit, and a faithful follow-through!

Experience the Emotions of Excitement, Exhilaration, and Enjoyment.  I See Great Success in your future...and if you are looking for information, go to http://www.LookingForHomes.org .  E-mail me  at rfredcope@msn.com if you want further assistance.
