If you are familiar with Parkdale, a little artsy neighborhood in the western edge of Toronto then you already know about Mitzi's Sister. Our neighborhood icon for pretty darn good food, try sweet potato fries and a wide variety of beers and music too. This is a restaurant and bar that is family friendly and with a nice summer patio in the back.
To the point, Mitzi's very supportive of local music, there is usually a band thats playing on most nights, from alternative, rocking to jazz. The music changes depending on who is playing that night but on Sunday night its back to the K-Tel glory days.
On Sunday night, April 11th, @8:00-11:00pm, my friends the K-Tel KIDS will be playing music from the 70's. So, if you are around please come have a bite eat and take a trip down memory lane. Its sure to be a fun night. Mitzi's Sister, 1554 Queen St. W. in Parkdale.
