1 : the quality or state of being proud: as a : inordinate self-esteem : conceit b : a reasonable or justifiable self-respect c : delight or elation arising from some act, possession, or relationship
I enjoy seeing and hearing associates define their niche as selling or listing homes only within a certain dollar amount criteria. How can this be so? Conceptually it seems to be an excellent aspiration. Not all customers started as Buyers or Sellers with abilities to purchase or market multi-million or as a minimum, several hundred thousand dollar homes. How do you become a specialist in specific price ranges? I've always thought this intriguing. As time marches forward and you've begun to exclude certain non-qualifying persons or properties in your repertoire I believe you will and can soon identify that you may have made a mistake. We've all been taught from day one that this is a "people" business. Anyone can sell houses! What is it that we are marketing, it's ourselves, no more, no less. In the long run it will be much easier to be GRACIOUS than PROUD, possibly more profitable too.
