I just bought a flip cam for web videos and haven't tried it out yet. $54.99 from buy.com and no shipping or tax. Sweet! I'll try to let you know how it works.

DXG 565-V is the make and model

I really enjoy my little Flip, it is really easy to use and download videos to my laptop, then upload to YouTube, Facebook and other places.

I saw on a tech show this week the flip rated against the sony camcorder, the flip was $200 and the sony camcorder was $1200. The flip according to the testers was just as good as long as they were not trying to zoom.

For the average video blogger they say the flip is just fine. I am glad I caught it I was almost ready to buy a very expensive model that I didn't really need.

They also rated a $500 Garmin GPS against a $75 TomTom. The TomTom actually one in their test. I got suckered into a $500 TomTom and my friends $100 Garmin is better... we bought them at the same time.

More expensive is not always better.
