Geauga County's Park System has grown!  Sunnybrook Preserve is located at 12474 Heath Road in Chester Twp.  There are now 73 acres to enjoy whether you like to bike ride, hike, cross country ski or just plain enjoy a day having a picnic!   This beautiful property was once a Commercial Nursery owned by Peter and Jeah Ruh but is now owned by the Geauga Park District and is now a public park here for your enjoyment!   Stop by!  You'll be glad you did!

Chester Township is is also the home the 237 acre  Orchard Hills Park located at 11414 Caves Rd. The Patterson Fruit along with the Geauga Park District agreed to share use of the property.  If you're a nature lover you'll absolutely love the beautiful scenery and muliple trails for bike riding, cross country skiing, hiking and of course picnicking.  Orchard Hills was formerly a Golf Course.

Why not stop by the Chesterland Historical Village?  You're sure to enjoy such offerings as the Annual Flea Market on the Village Greens.  Not to mention the Antique Care Show.   The trustees who maintain this wonderful historical park will also be available on an evening to meet and talk with you.

Join in the Spell Down at the One Room School House.  Maybe you'd like to try an 1800s geography lesson?  Meet a Pioneer Woman and listen to her life story in the Western Reserve.

The Chesterland Historical Foundations mission is to preserve the past for tomorrow.   Why not take time to stop by on the corner of Caves Rd. and Mayfield Road and explore the  inner urban railroad and depot, a barn, general store and other vintage buildings.  Chesterland is rich in history!  Stop by and experience it!
