April fun in the Mountain Home area of North Central Arkansas is always beautiful! Becky and I enjoyed a spectacular ride south out of Mountain Home today down state hwy 341, known to locals as Push Mountain Road. It is approx 25 miles of twisting curves with spectacular vistas overlooking the National Forest.
The Ozark Mountains are old...even in geologic terms. These Mountains have been worn down over the years to be beautiful rollings hills. You can see the ridges of the National Forest just south of Mountain Home. The Forest Service has done a great job over the years managing the Forest and making sure that recreational opportunities are balanced with the Forests production.

341 junctions with state hwy 14 just north of Blanchard Springs Caverns. The Caverns is run by the United States Forest Service. The caverns is spectacular and well worth the fee to enjoy it. Close by is the Sylamore Creek Camp Ground and Park. The Ozark Folk Center is actually a State Park and is located at nearby Mountain View, and is run and maintained by the State of Arkansas.

We are fortunate to have some great motorcycling roads here in North Central Arkansas. Get out and enjoy the twisting roads and undulating hills which make for a fun ride or a beautiful drive in the family sedan! Feel free to call or email for maps or directions to some of the prettiest scenery in America!
