Silent Sunday, Is This a Hobbit House?
While visiting the Tulip Fields in La Conner WA recently we saw this garden shed and thought it looked interesting. Do you think it looks like a Hobbit House? Can you imagine Bilbo or Frodo Baggins coming out for a walk in the gardens?
Dan, It does look like a Hobbit House - it almost feels like someone is watching from a window?
Dan I have no idea but it is an interesting structure. I do hope someone who knows the answer will stop by.
Dan, I would say that is does look like a hobbit house. It is cool looking shed! It has more arquitectural appeal than a lot of houses that I have seen!
I don't know about Hobbit houses. But it looks like a place where a pointy-headed person would be most comfortable.
I can't see the door...does it have a round door? If it doesn't, no self-respecting Hobbit would live there ;)
No one knows for sure but it sure is different... Great kids playhouse...
I like the look, but if it was a Hobbit's it would be most likely dug back into a hill. Looks interesting, trhough.

I think you're right, Dan. That architectural style does kind of say 'hobbit.'

When I saw it I immediately thought of the Weasley home in the Harry Potter books.
That would be a $350,000 home here on Maui! Or at the very least a cute little rental.
I'd saw someone built themselves a gardening shed after watching a few too many movies. LOL
Forget the Hobbits. There you go talking about tulips again, yet not a single picture of a tulip anywhere to be found.
