The improvements included painting decks and some interior walls, upgrading kitchen floor, bringing in updated furnishings, art, accessories and soft goods, and professionally cleaning carpets.
After the home was staged, the price was reconfigured to $319,000 and sold at the first open house. The homeowners recouped 500% of their staging investment.
