L Section, Rohnert Park, CA 94928

single level green house, lawn, fence, tree without leavesWhen I first arrived in Rohnert Park 25 years ago to hunt for a condo, I was asked by my real estate agent which section in Rohnert Park I was most interested in.  Section?  The agent explained to me that Rohnert Park is divided into neighborhoods called sections.  Each section is named after a letter in the alphabet, and each street name within the boundaries of that section begins with that letter.  Got it?

In the L Section in Rohnert Park, you will find Ladybug (of course it starts with an "L", what were you thinking?) Park, a great play area with, until recently, a pool.  Due to the state of the economy, the pool has been filled in with dirt.  A hope is that someday in better economic times, the pool will become functional again.

childrens playground, children playing, treesAnother great aspect about the L Section is location, location, location.  The L Section in Rohnert Park is within 2 miles of Sonoma State University.  Within blocks you will find Oliver's Shopping Center with Oliver's Market as the anchor.  Have you ever been to a Whole Foods Market?  Well this is pretty much what Oliver's is.  The selection of just about anything you could want is amazing.

Also in the Oliver's Shopping center you will find the post office, a dog groomer, barber, dry cleaner, Starbucks, several restaurants, a jeweler ... pretty much everything you need in a convenient location.

If you would like to find out more about the L Section in Rohnert Park, or would like to know of any homes available for sale, please don't hesitate to call me!

I bought a foreclosure home in D Section in the mid70s that faced the golf course.  It was a GREAT investment and I am sure the area has grown A LOT since then!!!

They had foreclosures in the '70's too? :)  I'll bet you bought that home at a great price then!  The Foxtail Golf Courses, both North and South (18 holes each), are very popular since they are so affordable to play on.

That alphabet thing sounds twisty.  Great well-rounded hyper local blog!  I love how you worded "has been looking fabulous lately. During the last housing boom in 2004-2006, a lot of these homes changed hands and have been remodeled."

I want to discuss a certain area but didn't quite have the diplomatic words to say just that.

Millions of baby boomers have homes with equity and will be considering a move to a new home that meets their changing needs. This segment should be part of almost every agent's marketing strategy.
