Our ladies started off a little shaky giving up 6 runs in the first 2 innings. Once they shook off the rust they were able to outscore West Lutheran 3-1 in the final 5 innings. In their first game of the year they appear ready to improve on last years results. They had some great defensive plays and ran the bases well once they were on. A few more hits and a stronger start and they should win alot more games this year.
Next up Southwest Christian on Thursday and Como tourney on Saturday
