Do you take time to laugh, time to love, time to enjoy?

I am going to deviate from my normal informative, opinionated real estate stuff.  Yesterday very impromtu an old friend of mine and I just quit working (with plenty to do) went to a restaurant in town, and just laughed, laughed, laughed.  What a good time! It is tough on everybody (well most people) right now.  Everybody has some challenges (different degrees for different people) but we can all find time to laugh and enjoy good company.

As an independent contractor we wear so many hats, as a parent so many hats.  Somewhere in this game of life we starting living to die!  We dont live to live and enjoy.  I personally am gulity probably more than some!

Dont take your friendships, loved ones, good times for granted.  It is funny the people that are closet to you, the ones that you love the most are the ones we put off the most.  Those friends you have that you put off seeing, your parents, some of us miss our children events all the time saying their will be another one.  What about your spouse or lover?  How many kisses, hugs, love making or just conversation do we neglect because "that person will always be there" or "they know how I feel about them?"  How many times do we chase the "new" prospect and not take time to spend with the clients that have supported you?  What about those friends, relatives, sibilings that have been in your path along the way?

Dont just walk by the roses, dont just pick the roses........smell them, adore them.  Dont live to die.  Dying is coming anyway. Take time to LIVE!

Well Elgin, you are so, so right.  We often DON'T take the time for laughter, and living life to it's fullest.

Today, I am taking that"much needed" day off, driving from Hemet to Glendora, about 65 miles and having lunch with my best friend on the planet.  Then I will stop and see my kids/grandkids.  Good stuff.

Ya gotta know when to stop and smell the roses!
