I saw this bird the day before yesterday, we had a snow storm that was moving out of the area, and it's reminants were still evident. I thought of the Rockin Robin song. Okay, so at my age I think of the Michael Jackson version of the song. At any rate, I felt bad that this bird seemed to be foraging for food after the snow storm.
Tony - OMG you still have snow? Sorry to hear that... Cool shot though.....
Robert, it is melting fast today! Thanks for stopping and commenting!
Joshua, that is an amazingly beautiful flower! Thank you for sharing it!
Tony and Darcy - I remember a couple of years ago, I saw a really colorful Robin trying to woe a female. He actually did something I had never seen a Robin do, and was sort of "rockin' his head up and down. When I saw your title, I was thinking you may have a video of something like that:-)
Myrl, sorry, I haven't seen that, yet, I hope that I do that would be fun to watch!
I can't believe you didn't have any birdseed for the little gal. We keep a bag of birdseed here in case any hungry birds stop by.
Sharon, No, I didn't, he found a worm not long after the photo was taken.
Jim, I should be more prepared. That's probably why I didn't make Eagle Scout!
I was feeling bad because it is still so cold here but thank goodness we don't have snow!
Debra, it warmed up the next day and to be honest, Fri through today have just been gorgeous temps in the high 60 to low 70's. We just get those one or two day Spring snow storms that cool things down for a day or two, then move out and the temperature climbs back to normal.
