YOU KNOW IT'S SPRING WHEN THE "BOYS OF SPRING" ARE AT PRACTICE!

The "Boys" below are at practice at the Lovettsville Ball Field along Berline Pike. This field is active every weekend throughout the season every weekend and many evenings for different teams of all ages.

The BOYS OF SPRING are a welcome sight indeed.

Baseball is very popular in Lovettsville and our resident and guests look forward to the games and practice with excitement.

Come on out. There's lots of parking and grassy areas for seating. The baseball field is located contiguous with the Game Preservation Association Hall on Berlin Pike (Route 287)

I miss playing baseball in the spring. I never liked it mid summer because it required wearing pants when it's 95 degrees out.

Chris Ann. Good for you. I've been on the trap range 3 days this week in the afternoons. I love the warm weather in the out of doors.

Ann Allen. The little ones love it and it's such fun. I love to see them gain a sense of competition.

David. It does get pretty hot here, but the kids are fine.

Hi Lenn...As are the girls. We have horse shows and outdoor field hockey, soccer, and lots of other activities played by girls and boys.

Lenn those are some fun times, but you don't show any of their parents on the sidelines getting ready for their shouting. The little kids just play the game with so much intensity and laughter, and then everybody for ice cream when the game ends. Maybe that's why they don't care if they win or lose?
