Don't overlook the one year extension granted for deployed military and certain other government employees.  Even if your market doesn't have a strong military presence like mine, there are opportunities to be found.  Anyone who is retiring from the military would likely have a house of their own by now.  But often times service members who do one or two enlistments and get out will return to their point of origin (usually the town where family is and where they were raised).  If that service member qualifies for the extension, it could be a great sales opportunity for agents.  So, now you've got one more reason to welcome veterans back to your home town after they served their country.
