One of the best ways to see the Island is from the air. You can charter a plane for a 1/2 hour tour of the Island, which is something that I have done on several occasions. I was going through my photos and thought I would share some of these photos. Marco Island is a bustling city with lots of activity, but just beyond is the 10,000 Islands and they await your exploration. Marco Island is a a boating community with miles of canals that lead to the Gulf of Mexico or the backwaters of the Everglades.
South Seas Resort Towers 4, 3, 2, 1, Sunset House North, Sunset House, Emerald Beach (which was the first condo on the beach here on Marco Island and it has one of the largest pools on the Island) and Tradewinds from the air, a couple of days ago, I posted photos from the beach , it is amazing that this photo was taken two years ago and how much the beach area has changed.
Isles of Capri (Twin Dolphins & LaPeninsula Condos)are on the left of this photo and on the right Hideaway Beach (Royal Marco Point & Riviera) and Old Marco beyond the lush greenery and beyond that is the famous Marco Bridge where most people come across and fall in love with Marco Island. It is really something to come across that bridge, every once in awhile I come across and my breath is taken away by the beauty of the Island and how incredibly lucky I am to live here.
Marco Island Bridge and the Marco Island Yacht Club, there is a fishing pier underneath the bridge and it is a great spot to sit and watch the boats go by.
