Everywhere I look in the media they are talking about how bad the market is doing. I think the market is doing great. I have never been more busy! Interest rates are still very low and sellers are still getting top dollar for their homes. Granted, the market is not where it was a year or so ago but it is still unbelievable out there.

Congratulations on your first BLOG here at Active Rain and welcome. True the media is negative, but remember that is what sells. It is our job to overcome that negativity. Right now my area in Southwest Florida is going through a market correction after a couple of years of tremendous appreciation.
It is our job to pull together the facts and present them to our buyers and sellers so they can make an informed decision... There are a few people writing good stuff, check out the Money Magazine article in one of my BLOGs...
The NAR has started a campaign to confront media woes...the full page ad was a good approach- did anyone get to see it ??
I agree with Coleen that we will need to continue educating our buyers and seller of the facts .
