Timber!!! What a beautiful lot, Mary!  Is that Jane's favorite little mountain structure in the bottom photo towards the upper right hand corner?  Remember you wanted to keep the content "PG"?

Is the distant mountain range what you call the Never Summer or is it the Mumy Range?

I like this one like the "WOW" lot in Glacier Meadows!!!

I just learned a new word: lodgepole. I'm guessing that you use this word in Colorado real estate much more than we city folk do.

Hi Bruce,  I don't know the name of that mountain, even though they do look similar it's not Manhead. There is a really good view of the Mummies, the snowcaps blended in so well with the white clouds this day that you really couldn't see them.  This is only round one of the photos, there will be round 2, when all the snow is gone from the lake :-)  This is really a nice lot Bruce!  Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it!

Hi Melissa, I wonder if lodgepole pine grow in California?  Hmmmm, I'll have to look that up! I'm glad you stopped by, I've been gone for awhile and it's nice to see you again!

Hi Craig, Thank you!  I am planning on a quick sale so the lucky buyer can enjoy this lot this season! I'm glad you stopped by today :-)

Hi Mary!  Can you see the Snowy Mtns. across the border into Wyoming?  Is that what you call the "Never Summer" Range?

Hi Bruce,

I don't think we can see the Snowy Range from most points. (I should say I have never been on land high enough to see them)

The Never Summer Range is South of us, they sit at the Northern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park on the Continental Divide.  If you have ever been over Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park you have seen the Never Summer Range.

(That's where the Mummy Range is located too, nearer to Estes Park and south of us)

Thanks for the explanation, Mary!  Sharon and I were there in August 1987.  We took that one road that went way above the tree line and I do remember taking a one way gravel road(I believe it went down the mountain).  Was that the Trail Ridge Road?

Bruce, maybe you went on Fall River Road? I'm not sure. where you were. Trail Ridge Road is really high and goes above the tree tops, but it a 2 laner :-)
