Fuzzy Math . . .

One thing everyone knows about me is that I stink at math.  Numbers are not my strength, not by a long shot.  However, there are two mathematical principles that I fully understand and take to heart.

1.  Good guys add and multiply.  Bad guys subtract and divide.  It is pretty self explanatory.  There is not gray area.  In life, you are either moving forward or moving backward.  You are either adding value or subtracting value. You are either bringing people together or putting a wedge between them.  This is more evident in leadership than any other area.

Are people joining your team, or are people leaving your team?  Are you attracting good clients or bad clients?  Is your business burgeoning or declining?  You decide.  Whatever you are putting out to the universe is what you are getting back.  The only person who can change that is YOU.

2.  A positive + a positive = a positive.  A negative + a positive = a negative.  Like it or not, you are what you associate with.  You can be the most positive person in the world, but if you join with a negative person, you will become NEGATIVE.  And you can be the most negative person, and start hanging with a positive person, and you will still be negative.

The only way to achieve Positive results in life is to be positive and partner with other positive people.  After all, it only takes one rotten apple to spoil the bunch.

I may never, ever wrap my head around all of the algebraic and geometrical equations.  Lucky for me, I am in the people business.  And I know first hand that by being positive and being a "good guy" all great things will come my way!

I always try to be positive and associate with others that are also that way.  It's the only way to move forward.

As a person that loves math, I just want to say that this sounds logical to me ;-)
