Where are we at in Rock County, Wisconsin!
Has the market stabilized!
Probably too soon to tell:
New residential listings for March are up about 17% from last year.
Sales for March are up about 33%. However prices are down about 4.5%. This is the third year in a row prices have receded. However, the %age decrease is less than the previous three years. This would indicate that the bottom is near. The Tax Credit extension certainly helped to promote the increase in sales. It will be curious to see what the end of the program will cause the market to do.
It certainly has been nice to see an increase in the number of sales though!
Tune in, in May for the rest of the Story!
