Someone Took The Microwave 1 Day Before Close... Why??

By

I have seen everything now, this business just keeps getting crazier everyday! We are representing a buyer on a bank owned home that is scheduled to close tomorrow. So we go today to do a final walk-through and wouldn't you know it, someone accessed the combo lock (that's the best guess now) and went in, took the microwave. A clean removal, no sign of forced entry. This is SO frustrating.......... The final hud is already signed off by the bank so the listing agent and I are on our own to figure something out. Karma will come back to people that would do something like this !!

I help brokers build businesses they love.

At the end of many of these deals the agents and attorneys start throwing in money just to get the deal closed. A few weeks ago I paid the home owners association back payment and the listing agent paid for the final garbage pickup (plus an overdue account) to get a short sale closed. Sometimes a little flexibility at the end is necessary, since once that HUD is done the numbers are carved in stone.
