AVOID ROCKING AND ROLLING OUT OF CONTROL IN YOUR BUSINESS

By
Real Estate Agent with Counselor Realty, Inc.

Lead Generation is really the very most important thing we can do to be proactive in our business and help it grown on an even keel rather than rocking and rolling out of control over the waves. I have always heard this, but I've never made the consistent commitment to post Lead Generation time into my schedule on a daily basis.  I am doing it now with a goal of reaching 20 people "live" over the phone or in person daily and a total of 100 people per week.  I have achieved this for the past two weeks and can sense the momentum growing along with my energy and enthusiam about my Real Estate business.

I agree with you totally on this! What type of places are you going for your leads? Expireds, FSBOS And such?

Chris: I apologize for somehow missing a response to your questions re source for my leads. I admit that most of them come from my past clients and sphere of influence contacts. I also do a lot of networking in the organizations and service groups where I volunteer and remind them of my desire to help out their family, friends and neighbors.  I take a lot of photographs at the events where I participate and ask for their information and emails, etc. to send them copies of the photos I took of them. I do not try and cover the Twin Cities but keep my business niche in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and am well know having been a Realtor here for over 32 years. The Expireds and FSBO's have rarely worked for me, and I will not call people from those lists where their phone numbers are on the Do Not Call lists.

Developing a consistent habit of making these daily contacts would make a huge difference in all of our businesses Nancy, I am glad that it is working for you.
