Somewhere along the way - according to the ActiveRain accounting method - I managed to post a hundred blogs.
Now I hadn't planned on posting 100 of these things since I started in late March - I figured 100 Blogs would be a nice two-year supply at a brisk pace of one-per-week. But here it is, so I brought my own fireworks...
Now the pics on the right and below aren't just ANY display of power and force - these are photos of the Messier 100 Galaxy. Now 100 of anything would seem like a bit of a milestone, and I don't discount the attaining of it. But if there are at least 100 GALAXIES out there, a little thing like a real estate blog seems somewhat insignificant in comparison. And 100 people out of six BILLION would appear inconsequential in the scheme of things as we see it through mortal eyes. And one person - well, that's a hundred times less important.
But that's not how God sees it. We may perceive ourselves as a single grain of sand on an endless beach, our lives meaning little or nothing. But to Father, who knows each of us by name, we are as important as any of those 100 galaxies filled with their billions of stars and planets, perhaps moreso.
So is my humble blog worthy of acknowledgement in a universe so vast and endless? Sure it is, because I wrote it. It's an expression of me, my life, and my existence. It is me living a life I was given, fulfilling a portion of my creation as I learn and grow.
Much like we do with our own child's stick-figure scrawlings, I'd be willing to bet my silly, simple blog is posted on some massive celestial refrigerator by a proud and loving Father - a monument both to my effort and His love.
His love is His legacy. I will try to make it mine.
