Hi Wendy, Thanks! It is absolutely beautiful here. And the regatta is such a fun event... lots of camraderie and excitement going on all around even if you don't particularly care aout who wins, it is fun to watch and the sght of hundreds of canoes cascading down the river is an amazing sight! This area is rich in arts, culture and sports. A big draw for many looiking for a nice relaxing place to reside, n the countrysde, yet with access to all the shopping, culture and events to provide the social entertainment we all desire.

Glad to see other towns are getting a benefit  from Bainbridge's Regatta for over forty years.  They could use the help from other communities you know! There is a lot of work to this event. The planning starts right after the end of the final race on Monday for the next year regatta. Remember there is no such thing as a free ride. Depicting that Oneonta is the sole place to be is taking a free ride!!
