Website Statistics - Up or Down?

What do statistics really tell us about who is checking our website?

  I find myself checking the statistics frequently to see if I had more visitors today than yesterday.  When a prospect or an agent indicates an interest in one of my properties, I click the website to see if that property had more activity than usual -- perhaps their friends or relatives are taking a look or a tour.  If I send out a Newsletter in my farm area, I check to see how many new visitors have found emorydecaturhomes.com.  I also check to see which Pages seem to be most popular or have little activity so I can update or eliminate them. Someday when I have time, I'm going to concentrate on those quirky "keywords" that everyone talks about and try to find a way to incorporate them into my material.

Any suggestions for using statistic information more creatively would be appreciated.
