How much more do REALTOR-assisted properties sell for versus FSBO's?

Ripping the Roof off Real EstateI'm in the process of writing an updated and revised edition of my book "Ripping the Roof off Real Estate" and I need some help getting my hands on some statistics.

In the chapter "The Unrepresented Seller" I quoted a stat from the 2005 NAR Home Buyer Seller Survey showing that REALTOR-assisted properties sell for 16% more than FSBO's. I need some numbers that are more up to date than 2005 and have had trouble getting my hands on a more recent NAR survey.

Does anyone have access to any studies showing how REALTOR-assisted properties stack up against FSBO's when sold? It doesn't have to be NAR's study (in fact a more objective source would be superior) but I want to make the point that going it alone is not the solution.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

I dug around a bit Mollie but wasn't able to find anything on Google... I'll park and see what others may know.  Good questions.

Mollie, I am excited about your upcoming revision.

Great place to ask this question. Am running for an appointment and will check back later.

Thanks Lee and Pamela. Any help would be appreciated. Even with an uneven market, I still believe that consumers net more when working with a REALTOR. I just need some hard data to back it up.
