After stepping in a hidden gopher hole about a month ago, I've been walking with a noticeable limp which had been getting progressively worse....
....until yesterday evening.
When I was at a Client's house yesterday, she saw me limping, asked what I did, and recommended a specific topical cream which she buys off the shelf at Wal-Mart.
I went to Wal-Mart and found that there were basically four active ingredients in all the brands. Two of the most popular ingredients were menthol and methyl salicylate. That would mean that either they are the most effective or they are the least expensive. I determined that they were the most effective since they were in low-cost brands and high-cost brands. I found a brand that has both menthol and methyl salicylate in it, so I chose that. I figured two active ingredients are better than one.
The brand is Icy Hot. Distributed by Chattem out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, it has 10% menthol and 30% methyl salicylate, and I can now officially tell you that it is fine, fine, fine and works as claimed, not that I've seen any claims you understand.
If you have those aches and pains that aren't caused by Clients or business associates, try Icy Hot. Some people are allergic to salicylates and chemically similar compounds, such as aspirin, so don't use anything with methyl salicylate in it if you have reactions to aspirin.
And what to do if you have gophers? Well, we'll talk to Zoey the Cool Cat about that and see what she recommends:
I received no compensation for this testimonial. Not from Chattem. Not from Icy Hot. Not from Shaquille O'Neal. Not from Wal-Mart. Not from the FDA. Not from Zoey the Cool Cat. Not from ActiveRain. Nothing from no one. Zip. Zilch. Nada. (However, if someone would like to send me some compensation after the fact, I won't tell. ☺☻☻☺)
