After 25 years of serving the residents of West Caldwell and the Communities of West Essex, the "king" of Kings in West Caldwell, New Jersey is closing its doors. As we know, when leases expire they don't have to be renewed and unfortunately, Kings of West Caldwell lease is not being renewed. A final farewell to the Kings of West Caldwell, New Jersey.....
I'm not a big fan of Kings Supermarket prices but have visited the store on occasion mostly to buy plants and flowers from their floral shop. Although now may be a perfect time to shop at Kings of West Caldwell because I hear that everything is 50% off regular shelf prices including meat, produce, deli, seafood, bakery, floral, grocery, dairy and frozen items.
From what I understand it may takes months until the empty shelves of the Kings of West Caldwell become West Caldwell's Stop & Shop and the residents of West Caldwell and the Communities of West Essexcan just drive up to the traffic light, turn right on Passaic Avenue and make a left in the Shoprite of West Caldwell, just 1.2 miles away.
Not a Shoprite fan, there's always Jack's Supermarket (Foodtown) about two miles up the road on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell, New Jersey. As an added bonus, you can even shop from home for Jack's Foodtown ANDhave it delivered if you live within the area. (BTW - Fairfield is one of the towns Jack's delivers too).
So within a five minute, approximately 2 1/2 mile radius, there are three supermarkets to choose as we wish a final farewell to the Kings of West Caldwell, New Jersey. For your Kings shopping experience, Kings in Verona (300 Pompton Avenue, Verona, New Jersey) and Kings in Livingston (255 S. Livingston Avenue, Livingston, New Jersey) are just minutes away.
