On April 22, 2007, My wife & I were blessed with the arrival of this cute little guy. I can't tell you the absolute joy that little Jake has brought to us.
It's amazing the constant changes in him as he begins to become more aware and discovers everything around him.... just last week I think he finally figured out that he has hands and now, only one week later, he's picking things up or holding his bottle. I am still in absolute awe of the miracle of life and the affect it has on those who experience it directly.
We all work amazingly loooong hours and for those of you with families, you know it begins to take it's toll. I am truly appreciative that there is a community like Active Rain out there that's sole purpose is to make networking a little bit easier, to make reaching out a little bit easier.... it's all about working smarter and if the utilization of all the tools available to us translates into being able to spend even a little more time with the family then that is a win for everyone 100% of the time!!
