THANK YOU NIMA!

Home Inspector with Comprehensive Building Inspections & Consultants

A really nice thing happened this past week.

The other evening I received a phone call from a gentleman that introduced himself as Nima Rezvan of Countrywide Loans in Norwalk, Connecticut. He sounded too nice on the phone, so, being a New Yorker I was sure he was trying to sell me something.

Perhaps he sensed what I was feeling, so he immediately assured me that he wasn't a telemarketer and had nothing to sell. He told me he was a fellow Active Rainer and that one of his clients was purchasing a home in New York and needed a Home Inspector. The inspection was outside of New York City, where I live, but certainly within the area where I work.

Well of course I appreciated the lead, and I think that it was nice of him to try and "keep it in the family"... the Active Rain Family.

I have been part of Active Rain for a few months now, and even though I've yet to meet anyone from this marvelous web site face to face, I have gotten to know a number of people pretty well and would have no problem recommending them.

BUT, Nima wanted something!!!

Nima told me he wanted one thing, and that was, to do a very good job for his client, regardless of the outcome of the sale. He made it clear that he was more concerned with his client than his commission. I assured him that was the only way I operate... ONLY. Regardless of the outcome of the sale... always and only.

I checked out Nima's profile and a few of his blogs. He really is a very genuine man and it is/was a pleasure to deal with him... and his client.

I think it was really nice what he did, the man is a real "class act". I would have no problem referring him to anybody, and since Nima issues mortgages all over the country, when someone asks me who is a good mortgage man or if I ever need a mortgage, there is no doubt in my mind as to who I will think of.

Anyway, once again, Nima Rezvan of Countrywide Home Loans in Norwalk, Connecticut... "You're the Man"!!!

Sincerely,

Steven Turetsky

Steven Turetsky: WOW!!!  Thank you very much for such a great blog.  I might have to send this to a nice marketing company and have them frame this blog to keep for a life time!  Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a nice blog about me.  As long as people here on Active Rain and even other websites like Myspace know that when I mean Business, I mean Business.  I am one of the nicest and most loyal guys you will ever find.  I do not have a SALES background so I come across as a super nice guy but it is not a cover-up at all because I am a nice guy.  Well, maybe some others will see this blog since there is almost 41,000 members and not many new members or the last 10-15,000 members really know of me.  Thanks again Steven and you will have more referrals coming your way if I come across any.

Please do refer me out to anyone that you know, family or friends.

Your New Active Rain Friend & Active Rain Mortgage Man,

Nima

Just a quick FYI: I was keeping a count and even blogging about how I am using Active Rain to network and give out referrals but I believe I lost count after 3 dozen referrals or leads sent to other real estate professionals here.  The power of E-NETWORKING here on ACTIVE RAIN!

I'm really glad that everyone is enjoying this post. I wasn't sure how it would be received.

I meant what I said about meeting and getting to know people on Active Rain. I enjoy reading and wring blogs, and feel that sometimes it's easier to get to know people by reading what they write than what they say.

Anyway, I have met some good people here. I have friends in Hawaii, Illinois, Texas, Canada. Florida, Connecticut... oh my gosh, the list just keeps going on and on.

I bet if I spent a week at each persons house, I could give up my home in New York. I can't wait to visit Hawaii.

It would be great if Active Rain members tried to refer within Active Rain. I am going to try whenever possible.

I have sent lots of referrals to AR members.

I like to think that it will encourage them to keep up with their blogs and not abandon them.

Steven: This was an excellent post. You know your way to Texas since you use to live in Texas you are always welcome. I tried to say the same thing in a blog yesterday how so many good people at AR have made such a good First Impression and the friendships we have already developed.

Time for my inspection. Have a good day.
