Habs Win! Habs Win!

With amazing goaltending from Jaroslav Halak, the Montreal Canadiens won game 7 by a score of 2-1 against the Washington Capitals, the best team in the regular NHL hockey season.  Montreal was down 3-1 in best 4 of 7 series but came back to win the last 3 games and pull one of the biggest upsets in NHL playoff history.  Halak stopped 131 of the 134 shots he faced during the last 3 games.

Vive les Canadiens!

This fan of the Montreal Canadiens (a.k.a Habs) in Red Lodge, Montana is very happy.

Congrats to the Canadiens. Coming back from a 3-1 series deficit is nearly impossible.

Jenny,

Thank you for making me smile with your comment.   Who would have thought that Montreal would eliminate the best team during the regular season (Washington Capitals) and win two games against the defending Stanley Cup champions (Pittsburgh Penguins) and have the series tied 2-2 prior to tonight's game?    I hope they keep on winning.   Go Habs Go!

Gerry,

I like watching hockey but don't follow it too much. Glad for you for the victory. :)

Steve,

Well to keep the Cinderella storing going, the Habs will need to come from behind again and win the next two games.

I don't follow hockey much during the regular season but I am a big follower during the playoffs especially since my team is in and have played better than most experts predicted!   :)
