A little snow shower couldn't stop us from playing golf today. Enjoy there great pictures.
My good friend Mick and I hit the links for our first round of the season... you can see Mount Lafyette in the background higher elevations received over a foot of snow last night. (1st hole)
Coming up the Ninth Hole...one of the few places along the course with homes (12 out 18 have no homes)
The 14th hole is near the height of the course, looking over towards Welch Mountain, and Waterville valley ski resort.
Putting for birdie, on the 14th...Welch Mountain through the trees.
Off the green of the 16th ...some of the bigger view homes on the course, I enjoy playing Owls Nest in Campton New Hampshire. Our parent company has built many of the homes on this great course.
Finishing Hole coming up the 18th, club house, pro-shop and the on-site restaurant all offer great views. The only way today could have been better is if it hadn't snowed on our round of golf. I recommend this course as one of the most scenic in New England, and lunch in the Sunset room was top notch as well.
Dispite the snow , 40 mile an hour winds , and the first round of the year I shot a respectable 88.
