Now the recent dash to purchase a home and obtain the tax credit has passed. What's next?
Well, one thing that I expect for sure is that the sellers won't be in such a panic to get a secured contract for their home. I recently LOST a few sales because the home sellers were in such a panic for an accepted contract by the deadline, they weren't willing to allow a few of my clients to buy their home with the inspection contingency. They were afraid that IF the inspections revealed defects and it would cause my client to walk, then they wouldn't have gotten it SOLD in time for the expiration of the deadline.
I've witnessed numerous changes in the industry in my years of selling real estate and I continually run into new types of scenarios on a daily basis.
I guess this just proves the old adage still exists. "You are never too old to learn." LOL
