Moose Monday - I Found Myself Under a Big Bull Moose!

By

Did I get your Moose Monday attention?

No, I was not attacked by a moose but simply found a creative way to have my photo taken with a very large bull moose in Cody, Wyoming.   This very imposing moose lies not too far away from the entrance to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center .

Bull Moose Outside the Buffalo Bill Historical Center

Please don't try this with a real moose!

If you are ever in Cody, Wyoming, you should visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.   And while you are at it, you can visit and have your photo taken with this big bull moose.

Happy Moose Monday!

Gerry - The Wyoming moose seem a lot more co-operative than the Montana moose.  In the past few months, you had written numerous detailed posts outlining your adventures while trying to photograph one Montana moose.  The Wyoming moose simply poses for the camera.

Gerry - If that wasn't a Bull Moose, I'd think "she" liked you!  It truly is an adorable shot!  Congratulations on having it featured in the "Photos" group!

Good one Gerry!  Was the sculpture created with photo ops in mind? It sure works perfectly.

Marc,

It must be a touristic thing.  They realize I am a tourist when I am in Wyoming and they aim to please by posing for photos.

Myrl,

Thank you for the feature!   The bull moose deserves moose of the credit.

Liz,

I have not seen any other people taking photos of this impressive moose.   They are many other sculptures around the Center but this one made sure to not miss the Moose Monday photo op and this a-moose-ing shot!

Debi,

The appropriate word is a-moose-ing shot.  :-)

Mary,

I would not want to see/read about a moose attack post.  To dismoose any chance of injury, I had to put the disclaimer.

OMG this would make a great business card or postcard.  And look at that sky.  Beautiful sunset.

LOL. I was wondering what this was gonna be when I saw the title. What a great idea. They put that little spot there just for someone to sit for photo ops? I love it! =D

Jenny,

It would be a very a-moose-ing postcard or a non-traditional business card.   :)

Lisa,

I would not say it was a comfortable spot to sit for photo ops and it took me a bit of time maneuvering to safely get into position for the photo.   I am glad the title caught your eye and you liked the idea I came up with.
